Owala’s Sway tumbler might just be the best all-around bottle on the market today for everyday use, and it’s a safe choice for someone who is new to water bottles or anyone looking for an upgrade.

These 11 design choices set Owala’s Sway tumbler apart from other top-name water bottle brands, including Stanley’s Quencher, Stanley’s IceFlow, YETI’s Rambler with a chug lid, Hydro Flask’s Flex Straw, as well as Owala’s original FreeSip bottle.

  2. Between the tapered bottom making it cup holder friendly, comfortable handle, and already excellent straw design and ease of cleaning, the Sway is the most perfect water bottle I have ever used so far. It solved the criticisms I had with the original Owala freesip (hard to fit 30z bottles into a cup holder, handle/lock was small/flimsier and I couldn’t clip it to a carabiner without leaving the bottle unlocked)

There are very few ways I can think of that they can improve the design of this bottle. Neither the OG or the sway are great at carbonated drinks. The OG I’d have to remove the straw to prevent it from exploding when I popped the cap. The sway is a bit easier – slightly unscrew to decompress. But I guess that is my only complaint if it counts : ability to handle energy drinks/soda

  3. Hi! I’m new here. I really wanna buy an owala, I’ve been looking for it for like 4 months, day by day, and I’m not sure which to choose: the original or the Sway.
I’m looking for something that I can carry in my school bag every day,use it outside, traveling with it a lot, keeping my water cold even in sun/hot car,and to last at least 5 years ,easy to clean and stuff.
I don’t care about the design, the original one looks kinda childish and none of the colors satisfied me,but that doesn’t matter.
    Any recommendations ?

  4. Is the sway more narrow at the bottom that the original Owala? I couldn’t fit the original Owala into my vehicles cup holder. It was close, but just a little too thick.
